FOCUS PROFILE STYLE: C/D/I

GENERAL OBSERVATIONS

The C/D/I Focus style, like the C/D, seeks facts and dominance but additionally adds the component of friendly interaction with others. This is a unique and valuable combination but it does create a lot of stress for the C/D/I. This stress builds because the C/D/I is balancing the needs to be correct, in charge and warmly interacting with others. This is a huge motivational assignment. Going slow, getting results, accepting risk and challenges and being friendly, encouraging and warm with others is a huge behavioral assignment. Those giving oversight to the C/D/I need to be careful not to over tax with too many differing assignments at one time and provide opportunity for the C/D/I to break from tasks and spend time with people. This brings an opportunity for the C/D/I to catch a breath from the demands of perfection and challenge.  The higher the I on the assessment scale, the more the need to introduce personal interaction into what is generally a very task oriented style of behavior.
