FOCUS PROFILE STYLE: I/D/S

GENERAL OBSERVATIONS

The I/D/S Focus style is people oriented with a motivation to be dominant and decisive in the environment. Very articulate and friendly, the I/D/S influences and gains results through people. Like the I/D Focus style, the I/D/S makes a very good sales person with one additional positive trait—they develop a deeper relationship with those they encounter. Relationships drive their leadership and results-oriented style. The I/D/S is an encourager and a promoter of people or products. Their decision-making is tempered by their consideration of the people involved not just getting a “task” completed or a “product” sold. The I/D/S can be seen as one who moves quickly from one assignment to another and willing to take on challenges and risks. Because they can be tempted to make decisions based on feelings, they may need to be supported by a fact-gatherer (someone with a measure of the C style) who can provide them with information and systems that brings excellence and balance to the decision-making process.
